I’ve been contacted by MPI to go to EMEC in Istanbul to provide education and all the tips and tricks meeting professionals might need to manage technology during their events.

In particular the focus of my sessions will be on how to design your meetings using mobile devices, not only smartphones and tablets but also laptops, so bring them with you and I will show there the most effective web tools and apps available on the market for the meeting industry.

There is plenty of amazing tools out there that can facilitate your life if you are an organizer, and that can really help your participants to get the most out of your conferences.

I’ll be crazy busy at the EMEC in Istambul: 2 sessions, 1 campfire and all the breaks at the consultancy bar!

My contribution will start on Monday morning with a CAMPFIRE: Web Tools and Apps for Hybrid Meetings. We will see there how to easily live-stream your event, interact with remote participants, facilitate networking between on-site and on-line participants and many other tools and solutions for this kind of events.

Still on Monday, but in the afternoon, I’ll present a challenging session, entitled From Paper To Digital: How Meeting Professionals Can Go Paperless Using The Ipad And Apps. So, if you will attend this interactive workshop we will explore together how to use the iPad as the replacement for your conference binder in a structured and user-friendly way.

Then on Tuesday morning I’ll open the conference with the session on Selecting the Best Web Tools and Apps for Successful Meetings. The objective of this session is to demonstrate the practical application of this tech-toolbox in the meeting setting, emphasizing hands-on activities and sharing the best strategies to avoid tech failures. We will explore and experiment a selection of tools for: event management; attendee engagement; to connect devices and collect audience generated content; for social media optimization, social networking solutions and many others.

Then during the breaks on Monday and Tuesday I’ll be available at the consultancy bar.
There you can dive into your specific web tool and app challenges and we can solve together some of your specific tech-issues.

I’ll be available for only eleven, one-on-one sessions. Reserve a 10-minute consultation at, and write a comment describing the specific issues you wish to address, along with your contact details.

If you are interested in innovating the way you manage your meetings, have a look at the EMEC programme and reserve some slots in your agenda to attend my sessions or to meet me at the consultancy bar.

See you in Istanbul very soon!!!
