Are you going to organize a conference and are you thinking about having your own mobile application?

If yes maybe you need some tips on how to design it.

There are some applications you can play with and that help you with building your own application. There are others that transform your event website in an application. But this is not what we are going to talk about here.

Financial Times Digital Media Conference, good ideas to catch and use

The event:

I attended the Financial Times annual FT Digital Media Conference that took place at the Grange St Paul’s Hotel in London on 7-8 March 2012.
The objective of the conference was to bring together innovators and business leaders from the world’s most influential media companies to share their thoughts on how to succeed in this new connected world made by multi-devices, multi-screens and evolving platforms that continues to soar. And the business leaders were really there: The Senior Economist of Google, the Chairman of Walt Disney International, the President of Condé Nast International and leaders from Digital, Channel 4, aNobii, Delicious, Adobe, BBC, eBay, DreamWorks Animation and many others. Workshop: Exploring iPad Apps for Meeting and Events

The aim of the workshop I presented at The Fresh Conference in Copenhagen was to explore and experiment some of the most useful iPad applications to help designing effective meetings. Throughout the session, participants have been guided through the use of a range of applications considered essential for the meeting industry: strategies and tools that focus on event management, attendees engagement, connecting devices, social media optimization, virtual and shared whiteboards and work spaces.
