IMEX America, one of the most important tradeshows for the Meeting Industry, will take place in Las Vegas, from 9 to 11 October 2012.

Are you going to organize a conference and are you thinking about having your own mobile application?

If yes maybe you need some tips on how to design it.

There are some applications you can play with and that help you with building your own application. There are others that transform your event website in an application. But this is not what we are going to talk about here.

I believe that everyone should do his job and there are very good companies and professionals who develop applications for the meeting industry. It’s also very easy to reach them.
Depending on your budget and your event requirements I suggest you to write down all your needs and ideas in order to prepare a good request for proposal.

The right web tools and mobile apps for your event

 

Two full days in Rimini at the BTC, the Italian trade show dedicated to meetings and events, with a very interesting education program.

I was there to hold two seminars: the first one, the 21st of June, was about Mobile applications and web tools for event organisation, the second one, presented the day after – the 22nd of June, was about Hybrid Events: theories and techniques to extend the reach of an event.

The number of participants registered to attend these two seminars was very large.

This is a confirmation the high interest of our peers on these topics. As a matter of fact more than 120 people attended these sessions, the meeting room (with a capacity of 90 seats) was completely full and many participants were standing in the back part of the room. Read more

Great minds and great professionals worked the past weekend to build the next big success of The Fresh Conference, the annual event fully dedicated to design meetings in the most effective way.
